A little bit of my summer

I spent a little bit of my summer with these cutie pies and a few others!

We had the best time getting to know each other, eating pizza, icecream, cupcakes, oh and of course making a few little projects.

The Crafty Scrapper had a Pre-Teen Crop every Tuesday for eight weeks.

I taught 5 of the weeks and Annette (a sweetheart) taught the other three.

I got really attached to the girls and look foward to seeing a couple of them in class this fall at the schools when I sub and seeing the others when they come shopping with Mom.

The pic below is the girls hard at work on their Home Depot aprons that we altered one week.

These are their Peace Tags (from Heart of Texas Studio) that they decorated.

Happy Birthday to

The Crafty Scrapper!

Last Saturday we celebrated 5 years at the store with a big

50's Celebration!

Lots of scrapping, giggling, and great food!

The owner, Carolyn (2nd from left in pink skirt), is alot of fun,

an amazing business woman, mom and wife.

She holds wonderful classes, always has the most update products and has amazingly talented designers and teachers. Sherri (not pictured), who is the Assist. Manager is incredibly creative and does the most beautiful work. Annette who is next to me teaches classes. I have been lucky to be in one of her classes and like the other ladies is incredibly talented.

I am very proud and blessed to be apart of this amazing store.

I hope to be there when she celebrates 10 years!

Scrapbook Layout

Noooo , not from me, but from Keyto!!

He had to do a Scrapbook layout for his Language Arts class about a pet.

I think he did a great job and so did his teacher because he got a 100!!

I am enjoying being home today because there weren't any sub jobs and because I have been fighting a sinus/hayfever issue (not an infection thank goodness) and barely have a voice from trying to get the attention of 6th graders on Monday and 1st graders yesterday! I am cleaning, getting ready for my BFF to be here tomorrow so we can hang out on Friday and for my Mom who is coming next week for Thanksgiving. Needless to say we are all so excited to see some familiar faces from home and spend some time with my Mom here at our home.
