Fabric Cuff Bracelet

I ordered the kit for this vintage fabric cuff bracelet from her etsy store back in the spring and finally got it all stitched up and have been having fun wearing it. I love the feminine vintage look. I think I am going to make a couple more for Christmas gifts! When we to Lubbock this summer a friend and I found some crocheted runners and mats at an antique store that were 50% off!! Which was like $3 for one and they can be cut up and used on many projects! I am wanting a blue and chocolate brown one for this fall for myself. The bracelets are great stitching while watching a movie or waiting for kids to get out of school or practice.

It's rainy here again. We are getting as much rain this fall as what we do in the spring. Tuck finally got to play an outdoor soccer game last night before the storms hit. Keyton's still waiting and it looks like for the 2nd week in a row Brandan's baseball double header will be rained out tonight! My roses, hibiscus and geraniums are certainly enjoying the rain though!

This was the Crepe Paper Hearts we made.

The teacher was AnnDenise and she is so amazingly talented, I can't even describe to you how gorgeous all of her items were at the vendor fair. If you ever get a chance to take one of her classes, DO!!

This is the class kit and cute place setting she had ready for us.

She is so thoughtful and share all of her ruffled crepe paper and fabric scraps with us.

She brought rolls and rolls of ruffled crepe paper!

She made these cute little badges for us!

my new blog banner? I love it! The colors, the birdcage, the birds, the flowers, the swirls, the polka dots...all my favorite things!!

I have been wanting to have someone design one for me for a long long time. I found this amazing girl on Etsy. She is so sweet and very fast. I told her my ideas and showed her a very very rough sketch of a birdcage and she took it from there. I highly recommend her for any graphic design you might need. She also does some adorable birth announcements if that is anywhere in your future needs! Thank you Stephanie for all your help.

FABULOUS FRIDAY

Aren't those adorable?? I found them at Target! My craft room colors are red, pink and lime green. I love the damask and the owl! I am going to use the cup and bowl for supplies. The mug brings a smile to my face each morning at 5 am! It helps to start the day with a smile don't 'cha know?!
