COZY
The boys and I are having a cozy night in. No basketball tonight! There's a fire in the fireplace and this yummy chicken and rice for dinner. I thought I'd take a picture for those of you who might want to try and find it. I got it at Walmart in the open freezers where the corn dogs are. My boys (except Tuck who doesn't like rice) love it. It is really good. There are two big packages in the box and you just pop the bag in the microwave. One bag would feed 2-3 people easily. It's a good, quick comfort food and... Dad, it has peas in it, and I ate them!!
Feeling a little homesick tonight, so just want to tell all my family and friends at home that I am thinking of you and miss you. Love ya
Hugs

PS. Dad, you really need to go to the side bar and click on The Pioneer Woman link. She lives on a ranch and posts the most amazing recipes. I have cooked up some of them, so they aren't too complicated. She is pretty funny too!

2008 Ornaments
We always get the boys an ornament each year to add to our hodge podge tree. I have never had a themed tree. We enjoy unwrapping the ornaments every year and remembering where and why we picked that ornament. A lot of our ornaments are also handmade by the boys at school or art class.
This year we stopped by our favorite Christmas store while we were at home and picked ornaments for ALL of us!
Tucker's is a soccer trophy. Soccer is his favorite sport.
Keyton's is a Kansas basketball. Brandan thought Keyto should have had ESP and KNOWN this was the one he was going to pick, but Keyto must have missed a brain wave because he got it first!
Brandan's after much deliberation and searching is a Yankee Baseball jersey, which actually fits him better since he loves the Yankees and Baseball.
Brent's of course if UT Football. Perfect!
And Mine is a blinged out Baseball. I have always said if I was going to have all boys I would find some way to incorporate the color pink and or bling! I love it, wish they made it in earrings!!
Have a happy day!
Hugs,
K
p.s. I'll explain the tree in the next post!

Halloween Night
Brando went to the Red Oak High School football game with some buddies. Luckily they won and guess what after winning a whopping 3 games we are going to the playoffs. Strange how you can win only 3 games in a season and still go to the playoffs! Must be a small district...
The rest of us went to a new Mexican Food restaurant here in town. We were famished and that is what eventually stalled Tucks Trick or Treating. He was hungry. It was really good, so when any of you come for a visit, we will take you there. I've learned to try these places out first, you just never know!
Well, I've gotta get to work, but I have lots more to post from the last couple of days, so will try to get some more on here tonight.
Have a Terrific Tuesday
Hugs,
K

Happy Halloween to
to all you Witches, Ghosts, and Goblins!
Here's what I took a pic of last night in hopes of scaring the boys! Keyton didn't even notice, of course, he and Tuck don't drink milk (except at school and in cereal). But, with Brando...HUGE SUCCESS!!!!!! I was taking Tuck to school and missed it, but he called Brent (taking K to dentist) and was mad at him because he thought he did it!! Then he called me! Too funny!
It's a great day for everyone...except Keyto has to go to the dentist first thing this morning, but he did get to sleep an extra 30 min.! It's spirit day so that's always special to get to wear jeans to school with a school t-shirt. Tonight Keyto and BAM will go to the last high school game and Brent and I will take Tuck to the town Halloween Carnival and then maybe a little T or T on our block if anyone is home (practically every house had kids except about 3)!
And just another peek at BATMAN!
Have a super FUN SPOOKY day!!
Hugs,
K

ROE Fall Festival
After all the soccer games on Saturday, we (Brent, Tuck and I) walked over the the school for Tuck's Fall Festival. He played games, ate popcorn, jumped, and did the hayride with his friend Christian (who also came over today to play)!
Will post the other pics of what I have been doing all day tomorrow. I'm off to eat dinner with all the boys. Brent is cooking hamburgers. He took a vacation day today so I could stay home from baseball to get stuff done around here and he has been wanting to see this team play. Brandan played in Mesquite with the Redds (a team he is filling in for, played with them two weeks ago). Today wasn't a good day for him or his team.
Have a relaxing Sunday. Love you all

Happy New Year
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope that all your dreams and wishes for 2008 come true!
I know that it is going to be a great year for the McMillion family. We have had many ups and downs in the last twelve months, but hopefully through it all we have grown and learned more about ourselves. I know that I have discovered fears and strengths I never knew I had, but then I guess that is why God puts challenges in front of us. Tomorrow I will post some of my thoughts on the New Year and what I hope to accomplish in 2008.
It has been a great weekend. We went to see Brent's parents on Saturday and had Christmas. They got the boys a Weii. So, there was lots of weii playing and shopping Sat. and Sunday. Thanks Nana and Papa for everything we appreciate you and love you for all that you did.
I came home on Sunday night (had to work Monday) and the all the boys stayed there for a little more visiting. Brent is on vacation this week.
I got to meet the Red Oak Firefighters Sunday night! Yes, it is one adventure after another for me. After my two hour drive home, I stopped at Walmart for a few essentials we needed and then home. Brent locked our door (when we left Sat.) from the garage into the house. So I got my keys out, unlocked it, let Dudley in, threw down my purse and went back into the garage to get the groceries. Well, the door shut and guess what??? It was still locked!! I went to the neighbor and he tried to open it with a card, but no luck. So went to another neighbor (hey, gotta let everyone know I was locked out) because the first neighbor didn't have ANY phones! How do they survive? Anyway, didn't know of a locksmith here in RO so neighbors thought calling the fire dept. was a good idea. You know me, I was worried they would be mad and think that was too trivial for them to mess with, but it wasn't and they were great! Came right out in their truck, no lights or sirens thank goodness. While I was discussing with one the options on getting in, another one got in! They were very cool and very nice. Didn't make me feel bad or anything! They are definately my 2007 heroes!
The boys came home this morning and it was great to see them. I was ready. I had my quiet time and was happy to see their smiling faces! Keyto has a friend over to spend the night, we have had a fire in the fireplace, had our black eyed peas, cleaned up my scrapbook table (don't know how it gets so piled up) and just chilled! It's been great!
Have a great evening and an even better year!
P.S. Brandan isn't that much taller than me, he is standing on a step! Makes me look like a little kid...
That is Tuck after his Christmas program. They put on the red noses for Rudolph!
